Field Day 2024
What is Field Day?
Field Day is a fun and festive day designed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and school spirit. Field day activities include relay races, tug-of-war, three-legged races, and other fun games. It's a great way for students to have a break from their usual routine, enjoy some friendly competition, and celebrate the end of the school year.
When is Field Day?
Field Day is Thursday, April 11th from 8:15am-2:30pm.
**School Gate Closes at 8:15am and will open 2:15pm- plan on using Travisso entrance & exit during the event. No Parking on Angel Side Drive
How can I help?

What's for lunch?
Chick-fil-A is offered through HotLunch (https://sterlinglunch.ahotlunch.com/login) or students can bring a lunch from home. The deadline to order April 1st.
Kona Ice will be here from NOON-2:30pm serving snow cones. Students may bring cash from home to purchase a snow cone.
What do we wear?
It’s a tradition here at Sterling for each grade to have their own special colored shirt. This helps classes be able to keep track of each other in the fun. Students are not required to order a shirt, however most students do. If you do not purchase a Field Day shirt, students are asked to wear a plain t-shirt in a matching color to their grade. Students wear their field day shirts with shorts or pants of their choice that align with our dress code for length and modesty.
Colors for each grade are as follows…
Preschool: Deep Purple
Kinder: Dark Yellow
1st: Light Blue
2nd: Pink
3rd: Orange
4th: Neon Green
5th-12th grade students wear their House shirts.
Parents are also able to purchase matching shirts by grade color. **When viewing the site, select “Shop All Items” to view Adult Sizes.
The order deadline is Sunday, March 24th.
Shirts will be delivered to the school for pick up on April 9th

What is the field day schedule?
8:00am-11:30am: GAMES!
11:30am-12:30pm: Lunch
1:00pm: Pep Rally (whole school attends)
1:15pm: Rhetoric Ultimate Football Game (whole school attends)
2:30pm: School Wide Dismissal
What time do I pick up my student?
The entire school (preschool-12th) will dismiss at 2:30pm with no electives.
