Mrs. Taggart is a graduate of Texas A&M University and North Texas State with over 40 years of teaching experience. She loves teaching at Sterling because it's the perfect environment for engaging students in science activities. She and her students enjoy exploring the beautiful "outside lab" around the Sterling campus. She also loves that Sterling students can go deep into subjects they are interested in without the pressure of staying to a tight timeline. It's wonderful to be able to teach about God's marvelous creation in a Christian environment.
Mrs. Taggart loves science and anything that has to do with being outside and active. She is married with two adult children and two grandsons. Her hobbies are hiking, birdwatching, snorkling, swimming, gardening and biking with her grandsons.
