Staff & Faculty
Catherine Ford is delighted to be joining the second grade team this year. Catherine received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a Minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders, from the University of Texas at Austin. After managing a statewide non-profit, and facilitating many training programs throughout Texas, she returned to her first love and received her Educator Certification through Region XIII for early childhood through fourth grade. She has taught in Georgetown ISD, as well as a Christian school in Round Rock, prior to switching gears to teach her children in the university model here at Sterling. This will be their 7th year!
Last year, she taught the Nature & Devotional class in the Sterling School of Logic for 5th grade. She has a passion for Jesus and all things nature. Catherine loves music and has led elementary worship at HCBC and VBS music for New Hope First Baptist Church for many years. She believes that every student can be excited to learn and loves to develop their natural curiosity for the world around them. She feels very blessed to be teaching at a school that is Christ-centered and to share with her students the incredible love and creativity of our God!
