Meet Our Leadership
Sterling is blessed to have Tim Moon on our teaching staff. He comes with over 15 years experience in classical, Christian education with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from Washington State University and a Master’s Degree in History from Portland State University. Before Sterling, he was the Head of School for three other classical, Christian schools. Since coming to Sterling, he has worked as the Athletic Director, and teaches upper school history, logic, government, and economics, and is the Director of Operations and Facilities.
Mr. Moon enjoys teaching at Sterling because it's a down to earth, family-oriented working environment with educational leaders who are strongly dedicated to the mission of combining the Charlotte Mason and Classical approaches to learning. He enjoys thinking critically with students about history and the world around. He also appreciates the commitment to using primary documents and Sterling's emphasis on project-based learning.
His broad administrative and classroom experience are a definite benefit to the college preparatory platform at Sterling.
