The Advisory Panel was established to assist and advise the Administration, who in turn in, is accountable to the mission and vision that Christ has established for Sterling Classical School. The Administration, with the Advisory Board's assistance, will be able to insure the continuation of a "sterling" education for all students in an environment that focuses on Christ-like character.

The Advisory Board:
  • Confidentially provides a network of accountability
  • Advises in implementing policies and regulations as stated in the Sterling Student Handbook
  • Serves as a filter and mediator for noted grievances brought forth by faculty or Sterling families who have followed the process in the Sterling Student Handbook which highlights the direction of Matthew 18
  • Proposes policies, long range plans and ongoing assessments that relate to the overall operation of the school
  • Creates better understanding of Sterling Classical School and promotes various levels of support for Sterling in both the internal and external communities
  • Cooperates with, provides advice and support to the Administration
  • Provides any other assistance to help maintain the efficient operation of the school, including but not limited to operations, facility maintenance, and fundraising
  • Meets quarterly for a total of 4 panel meetings annually unless there is an emergent need for an additional gathering of the panel
  • Provides ongoing prayer support for Sterling Classical School, the faculty, current and prospective students and their families as well as the internal and external communities who can be impacted by the service ministry of Sterling
